Madeline Carter is a filmmaker and visual artist, with a focus on themes of vulnerability, trauma, and addiction. Carter has written, directed, and produced over 4 different short films and led a production design team for over 15. Carter’s main passion lies in writing and directing stories that reflect their view of childhood and how it effects their adult life. Carter’s most recent film, My Heart Won’t Stop Beating, has been accepted into 3 different international festivals and was nominated for best drama short at the 2023 Next Generation Indie Shorts Awards.
